I have already told you, when a couple of months ago, Rome was literally submerged by rain. As I wrote in this post, the Aniene has over-flowed and many areas were flooded. Including the park where there is this little sapling… P.S. See you monday for the fourth Monday night Shot! |
The sapling looks brave in the water and the reflections add to the scene.
floodings are terrible things, but this tree is standing straight and proud in spite of its wet bed.
How beautiful!
Glad to be following you now…
Great view on a tragic event…
The poor little tree looks so lonely, but the lovely reflections might keep her company. I hope the floods have gone now.
Sorry for flood, but it made a fantastic view. Beautiful reflection and shadows.
There seems to be flooding all around the world…so frightening. The reflections in the waters are striking…and that one lone little tree. It looks as if the fence is going to be covered in water before soon. Beautiful shot.
Thanks to all!
Don't worry, the river level returned to normal after a few days…

cool capture nonetheless.
Beautiful shot.
Good to hear it's back to normal.
Water, water, everywhere!
MY BLINGLESS SHADOW
A shadow’s an odd sort of thing;
It might have a nose or a wing,
A tail like a dog,
A bump like a log,
But one thing it has not is bling!
