ABC Wednesday T is for Time
How do you measure time? With clocks, of course!
Among hourglasses, sundials and others, man invented several mechanisms to measure time. The Pincian water clock is the only hydrochronometer placed inside a public garden in Italy. It was designed and built in 1873 by Giambattista Embriaco, Dominican priest and physicist with the passion of watchmaking, and presented at the Exposition Universelle in Paris. The material used for the Tower, designed by Joachim Ersoch, is not the wood as it may seem but it is iron cast in imitation of tree trunks. The wear of time and neglect have been blocked for years the clock. P.S. See you every monday for the Monday Night Shot! |

Thanks!
What a cool clock and setting. Time on my hands…maybe I'll just stay a while.
Very interesting, thanks for posting this.
Great clock! Admire your wish to communicate in two languages, but in your live traffic feed I keep seeing the American flag -how about adding that one on the right? (I myself am not even American:) ) Just a suggestion…
