| L’entrata riservata agli artisti del Sala Umberto. Il teatro fu costruito nel 1882 e inizialmente ospitava concerti, operette e commedie. Nel 1913 vennero eseguiti dei lavori di ampliamento e il teatro divenne così un cinematografo. Nel 1928 la sala ridivenne teatro grazie alla gestione dei fratelli Marino (e assunse il nome di Sala Umberto in onore del Re d’Italia). Fino al 1930 la programmazione è stata costituita da spettacoli di varietà e rivista, poi in cui venne nuovamente riconvertito in cinematografo. Solo nel 1981 riaprì come teatro sotto la direzione dell’Ente Teatrale Italiano (ETI). Dieci anni dopo (nel 1991) la Sala Umberto diventò nuovamente sala cinematografica per poi diventare nel 2002 di nuovo teatro. |
The entrance reserved for artists of the Sala Umberto theater. The theater was built in 1882 and initially housed concerts, operettas and comedies. In 1913 were carried out extension work, and the theater became a cinema.
