A luglio sono andato insieme ad un mio amico a vedere la mostra “I fotografi di Life”.
La mostra è una retrospettiva sugli autori e le immagini di una delle prime e più famose riviste di fotogiornalismo, fondata a New York nel 1936.
La storia della rivista viene ripercorsa in circa 150 scatti (quasi tutti in bianco e nero) di fotografi del calibro di Eisenstaedt, Bourke-White, Capa, Walker, Mydans, Morse, Rosenthal, Loengard. Storia che contemporaneamente è quella dell’America e del mondo intero verso la metà del XX secolo, vista con gli occhi di quegli appassionati e audaci fotoreporter.

In July I went with a friend of mine to see the exhibition “the great Life photographers”.
The exhibition is a retrospective about the authors and the images of one of the earliest and most famous magazines of photojournalism, founded in New York in 1936.
The history of the magazine is featured in about 150 shots (nearly all in black and white) of photographers like Eisenstaedt, Bourke-White, Capa, Walker, Mydans, Morse, Rosenthal, Loengard. That is the history of America and the entire world in the mid-20th century, seen through the eyes of those passionate and daring photojournalist.
